Directions to White Cross Bay

From the North & South

  • Leave the M6 at junction 36, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A590 (signposted Kendal, Barrow).
  • Continue forward onto the A591 (signposted Windermere)
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A591 (signposted Windermere)
  • Continue forward on the A591 through Stavely and Ings before entering Windermere
  • At mini-roundabout continue forward (signposted Ambleside)
  • Follow A591 for a couple of miles and White Cross Bay is on the left.
